The Pre-Retirement workshop contains the following modules:

  1. Pension Plan

This module is delivered by a Public Service Superannuation Act (PSSA) certified Pay Specialist

  1. Health and nutrition

The focus of this module is on diet, health and their impact on retirement.

  1. Psychological Aspects of Retirement

This module focuses on the challenges and impacts of this life transition.

  1. Estate Planning

This module includes all aspects of succession planning.

Note: for the National Capital Region, unless otherwise stated, workshops in French are presented by a notary (Code civil du Québec) and those in English by a lawyer (Common Law).

  1. Financial Planning

This module deals with various topics related to good financial planning for retirement.


Objectives :

The workshop is offered to all employees of the federal government and is designed to facilitate the transition of employees to and from retirement by providing them with important information on the various aspects to be considered in planning for retirement. Participants can start thinking and acquire tools that will help them move from work to retirement.

  1. Le régime de pension de retraite de la fonction publique pour les fonctionnaires fédéraux et leurs conjoints

Ce module est présenté par un spécialiste agréé en rémunération de la Loi sur la pension de la fonction publique (LPFP).

  1. La santé et nutrition

Ce module met l'accent sur l'alimentation, la santé et les répercussions sur la retraite.

  1. Les aspects psychosociaux liés à la retraite

Ce module met l’accent sur les défis et enjeux que représente cette transition de vie.

  1. Les aspects légaux

Ce module comprend l’ensemble des aspects de la planification de succession.

Note: pour la région de la Capitale nationale, à moins d'avis contraire, les sessions en français sont présentées par un notaire (Code civil du Québec) et celles en anglais par un avocat (Common Law).

  1. Les aspects financiers

Ce module traite des différents sujets relatifs à une bonne planification financière de la retraite.

 

 


Objectives :

Cet atelier de 5 modules est offert à tous les employés du gouvernement fédéral et vise à favoriser la transition des employés vers la retraite et leur préparation à celle-ci. Cet atelier permet de prendre connaissance d’informations importantes sur les différents aspects à considérer pour bien planifier sa retraite. Les futurs retraités peuvent amorcer des réflexions et acquérir des outils qui leur seront utiles et faciliteront leur passage du monde du travail à celui de la retraite.
